French developer FKFX’s latest release, Noise Bleach, is a multi-band noise gate plugin.

Noise Bleach allows you to apply noise filtering per frequency band, thus making Noise Bleach a tool for deep surgical frequency clean-ups and also for rhythmic gating effects.

FKFX Noise Bleach gives us the power to remove unwanted noise and resonances just like the professional gates we all know and love. We can use Noise Bleach as a composition tool and add chops and glitch effects to your signal. I’m thinking intense build-ups, spatial environments,… and much more.

Noise Bleach offers 8 bands to manipulate with a Dynamic Matrix Threshold level parameter that allows us to monitor each band. As standard on many dynamic [plugins, we also have the ability to isolate individual bands in the spectrum so that we can dissect our signal with accuracy.

There is also further following automated functionality, as reported by Gear News:

  • Noise Gate: automatically set thresholds levels for basic gating
  • Noise Bleach: automatically set thresholds levels for hard noise gating
  • Transients: automatically sets thresholds levels to extract the main transients
  • Gate Invert: reverses the gate opening to let you control the removed parts of the signal

Bypass and Latency Compensation features are also available within this epic plugin. Noise Bleach makes us of uses of its internal latency compensation system from the get-go, but we can disable it in the preferences tab of the plugin itself.

Noise Bleach is available in VST and AU formats for modern Windows and macOS computers. The plugin is free to download and use, but it comes with a limited use timer which you can remove by purchasing the plugin for EUR 39.
