The new Sericon from Mojo Hand FX is more than your average boutique Klone. This Klon-style overdrive has three gain stages, plus a handy low-pass filter for added flexibility.

The brand new Mojo Hand FX pedal is a Klon-based overdrive that flaunts this particular fact reports gearnews.com.

But where the Mojo Hand FX pedal excels is how it builds on the usual Klon ‘Transparent Overdrive’ style drive. The Sericon has three separate controls for gain manipulation!

The Sericon adds DriveGain and Blaze control. These respectively control the different gain stages to the standard Level and Treble controls of the original Klon circuit.

The Drive control manipulates the level of gain stage 1, as well as the harmonic elements of the tone in the other gain stages.

Gain takes control of the second stage, while, Blaze is a final stage with a built-in low-pass filter at its core.

The Sericon’s Treble knob controls the high frequencies post-distortion. The pedal is true-bypass and will run from an external 9V DC power supply.

The Mojo Hand FX Sericon is now available for $199.
