The iconic 200A reed-based electric piano was released by Rhodes in 1974 and soon became a fixture in many big studios worldwide. Legendary records that feature the distinctive, bright clear voice of the 200A include Joni Mitchell’s Court and Spark, Pink Floyd’s Have a Cigar, and Elton John’s Bennie and the Jets.

This week Rhodes introduced the Rhodes Wurli plugin, a faithful reproduction of the famous 200A sound, that was immortalised by the likes of  Ray Charles, Queen, Supertramp, Beck, and countless others.
